Lower Your Electric Bill
Whether you opt to purchase a solar generating facility designed and installed by Energy Source Partners or enter into a long-term arrangement with us, you will capture the sun's energy to reduce your costs and improve your bottom line
Protection from Rising Energy Costs
A solar generating facility installation engineered and designed by Energy Source Partners offers a clean, abundant, dependable, cost-effective and sustainable source of power that reduces your convention energy consumption and lowers your carbon footprint.
Start on a More Sustainable Path
Powering your business begins with a review of your site and its suitability for a solar generating facility and an assessment of current energy use by Energy Source Partner's experienced professionals. This is followed by system design and engineering, purchase of components, obtaining the necessary permits, installation, inspection approvals and interconnection with the facility's existing electrical infrastructure and the utility grid.
Benefit from Tax Credits & Incentives
Federal: Investment Tax Credit (ITC) 30%
The federal government allows you to deduct 30% of your solar system costs off your federal taxes through an investment tax credit (ITC). If you do not expect to owe taxes this year, you can roll over your credit to the following year.
State and Local Incentives
Home and businesses located in the Tennessee Valley Authority's service area can join the Green Power Providers Program and receive the base rate plus $.12 cents per kWh for all of their solar electricity production as a credit on their monthly electrical bill. In addition, TVA pays $1,000 to customers who install grid-tied solar electric systems
Provide Environmental Benefits
Demonstrate your leadership for employing environmentally-sustainable practices.by implementing solar for clean, pure energy. Some of the environmental benefits include:
- Fighting greenhouse gas emissions and global warming as well as decreasing dependence on fossil fuels
- Reduction of toxic gases emitted by the burning of traditional energy sources such as coal or natural gas
- Average solar system for your home offsets 100,000 pounds of carbon dioxide over 20 years
- Equivalent to planting 50 trees
- 30,000 gallons of water used in electricity
- Driving 100,000 miles in your car
How Solar Works
- Solar Panels- are made of photovoltaic (PV) cells which convert sunlight into direct current (DC) power
- Inverter- converts the DC power into alternating current (AC) power, or the electric current that is used in your home
- Electrical Panel- receives the AC power from the Inverter, typically called a breaker box, now power can be used in your house
- Utility Meter- measures your electrical supply
- Utility Grid- your home is still connected to the electricity grid for external power
- Solar Production Monitoring- continuous monitoring of your system to make sure it is running correctly
